Day # 7 of YEAR of IMPERFECT ALIGNMENT - SUNDAY 11/7/2021

TODAY'S TOP priority TO DO LIST
DONE- respond to ale about private practice
DONE- reach out to Mo
DONE- create the meal plan for day 8-14
DONE- wash clothing from trip
DONE- spend later half of day with J

ROUTINE
Bedtime: 11pm
Wake up time: 415 am(due to day light savings) im actually really really am excited about this time change because its going to really help me solidify the changes im making to be more of a morning person. Ive been consistently getting up at 550am and my goal is 5 am and this time change is going to make that happen. yes!!!
Leave the house time:n/a in san fran visiting friends. heading back to LA today on a 230 pm flight so i have the whole morning with them still

SELF
Mental: made sure to have alone time for moments

Gratitude: grateful that i can seek refuge with myself

Beauty: did lots of self talk about liking myself despite not getting my outfits right all the time

Outfit: white button down w leopard flats



HOME

i got home exhausted from my SF trip and went to bed early at 830pm. no cleaning at all. which is fine. i slept almost 10 hours.

RELATIONSHIPS
J:time with J. had a dinner date with him after he picked me up from airport


MONEY/CAREER
Making $: working $190 take home pay
Spending $: my whole 3 day trip with flight and transportation included as approximately 300 dollars. i dont know for sure yet cuz i still owe my friend some money for our ubers and eating out.

Investing $: $85.34 saved per day in 401k (my contribution and employers combined)

PURCHASES IM PLANNING FOR: Dyson Airwrap, Mejuri necklace, Face Glow Up,


MOVEMENT
did lots of walking in SF and when i came back home for date night with J

FOOD
I dont even want to recap it. not because i feel ashamed or anything but because there was definitely excess carbs and calories and im exhausted.


REMINDERS FOR TOMORROW
- mani & pedi 930am-- this is gtting pushed to tuesday due to some unexpected schedule changes
- noon analysis
- make returns at Nordys, Macy's and Amazon (w grocery visit)
- 6pm zumba class
So i wanna reflect a bit on days 1 through 7 of this imperfectly aligned year.

I wanna start off with reflecting on how bad ass ive been this last week.

On monday I joined the goddam gym , went to the gym twice in the days leading up to my visit two of my best friends, dressed up, took care of my skin and body and drank water and attempted to eat lower carb which i believe i did successfully 3 out of the last 7 days. THis is a 40-50% improvement in eating and like a 200% improvement in exercising.

I did big things this week.

I also spent extra3 quality time with joey which was great. we both kept the house a little more picked up. We stuck to our food plan which is such a big deal. ive never successfully done that!!!!

lets briefly overview my wins and then talk areas of improvement:

S- been doing great on SELF. analysis, dreamwidth, taking more care of body, style
H- moderate improvments on daily task- dishes done more often
R- big improvements on relationship w J and great visit with two besties in SF
F- i counted carbs, opted out of carbs a few times, did not spiral when carbs were consumedd
M- i ate out less often during the weekdays, i ate at home all week, followed meal plan and made a plan for side hustle work
M- I WORKED OUT TWICE IN ONE WEEK THATS HUGE AFTER 2 years of not working out

okay time to do the other side of things: (let the self critical side have a say lol)
S- this is where my perfectionism can continue to work on taking a break.
H- continuing to pick up after myself and having more realistic ideas of what can get done daily and how to MAINTAIN a level of tidyness instead of always having to pick up
R- i feel like i have not connected with my dad and feel like i want to do that as well as connectinfg with grandparents. need to plan my trip to argentina
F- i need a balance of okayness when im eating carbs with friends but being aable to say no to myself more often during the week. BALANCE HERE>
M- continuing to save, cut back, mindfulness w food expenses especially, planning for christmas expenses and bday expenses as well as building that side hustle
M- movement movement movement. baby steps. not pefection here. lets see if day 8-14 can be 3x/week deal. lets do this.
