I have three intentions for the month of September.

I usually have like 459083458 goals that i'm working on at any given time and here is my trying to simplify my life. I am trying to remember that living an intentional life means intentionally pointing my direction towoards what matters to me.

1. MOVE MY BODY FOR 30 DAYS

This first one is my most important intention. I want to go on a minimum 13 minute walk around my block every single day for the next 30 days. It's not really about the walk itself but rather the instilling of the habit. I want to get into the habit of making gentle movement part of my every day. and after having a very sedentary pandemic year, this habit is a kind and gentle stepping stone to finding movement in my life again. I started the walks yesterday and today 9/2 will be day #2.

2. FINISH BOOK "TINY HABITS"
I read half of this book in August and I've been reading it very slowly because I dont want to just read another book without any intention of implementation. I want to finsh this book (half way to go) through the month of September with the intention of implementation. exhibit A: intention #1

3. FOCUS ON UNPACKING MY HOME
I moved into my current home approximately six months ago and we never finished unpacking. NOt really. we moved in and have been living comfortably but we never really finished unpacking. recently we had to do a removal of all our belongings of half the house because of a pest control issue resulting in a major packing and now unpacking taking place. My partner J and I decided to use this long labor day weekend to focus on making our home a place we feel really happy to be at.
