Day TWO of my YEAR OF ALIGNMENT

ROUTINE
I struggled AGAIN with waking up on time. I was late to work again., When I say late, it's me saying i'm not there at my ideal start time. when i get there late, i have to stay late so its just NOT my preference. For Day #3 I'm going to wake up a little earlier and see how that goes.

I had analysis and talked a lot about "quiet contentment". In evening, I gave myself a mini acne facial for the areas that i'm prone to breakouts and followed it up with retinol, gave myself a new scalp mask (trying it out) for my psoriasis, distributed my vitamins for myself and J,
HOME
this was the MOST focused thing from yesterday. we worked on the house for about two hours reorganizing, clearing and deep cleaning that has been put off for so long. this will continue on day #3 as we have guests coming over for dinner.
RELATIONSHIPS
practicing patience with J, reaching out to each of my sister to see how theyre doing (they're both dealing with some personal struggles-whose not, right?), and spent alot of time with J yesterday preparing our home. I worked really hard on not being critical of his cleaning of the house. I also made it a point to spend EXTRA1 quality time with J and time playin with out doggos.
planning future outings on Wednesday (couple friends dinner at our place w J), Friday (happy hour with coworkers), Saturday (visiting bestie whose birthday just passed for a belated celebration), Sunday (hike with friend from college), Monday (hanging out with pregnant best friend). HOLY SHIT THATS ALOT OF SOCIALIZING AFTER A LONG TIME OF HIBERNATION
MONEY
did some money planning moves with J about our upcoming paycheck on Friday. ALSO we did NOT eat out for dinner because of my re-directing about how it was completely UNNECESSARY since we had tons of available food at home saving us anywhere from $20-$40 depending on whatever we would have chosen to eat.
MOVEMENT
Standing at my desk for first two hours of the day, spent two hours actively cleaning while I danced to merengue, and some salsa.
FOOD
B- turkey, tomatoes & eggs & coffee
L- roast beef sandwich w tomato and lettuce & small serving of pasta salad
snacky- overnight oats w oatmilk and a little granola along with two pieces of proscuitto
D- two small breakfast sandwiches w chicken sausage, egg, avocado, tomato, thin slice bread
TOMORROW'S FOCUS
getting house ready for guests to come over, hosting, and staying in alignment during the entire visit. its easy for me to become overwhelmed with socializing where i can really feel all the anxieties of other people (which is normal)but my goal is to enjoy their company, enjoy good food, enjoy the OCTOBER SPOOKY ambiances and focus on the fun while navigating the ins and outs of the anxieties. also would like to dedicate at least 15 minutes of SELF time at the end of evening to recalibrate!
